Hi all Im doing a engine rebuild on my vts, the plan is to replace everything but with quality original parts rather than performance.
I was just wondering were to buy the parts from apart from citroen (as there pricey) ha
I have searched but cant find a great deal. cheers

U can get all the goodys for the head minus the cam from halfords, and gove them the old parts back claiming they didnt fit getting a full refund. Thats what we did! They had a kit containing, valves, valve stem oil seals , springs, head gasket, manifold seals and they threw in a valve seatin kit as i remember

Plus the oil seals for the cam and cam seats

Original parts you are mostly looking at Citroën and Peugeot. Generally there pricing is not silly and you can normally blag a trade discount even if your not trade. So I generally just use them. Some motor factors can get some of the bits but most sell cheap copies of the originals. I some times use Eurocarparts for the likes of clutches and plugs but I get bits cheap from work withthem. Some times you can get quality performance parts for good money and can be worth fitting even if you don't require them.
