Hi Guys,

Gonna be doing a R to S conversion at the weekend and wanted to know a few things

What grade oil should I use to fill her up?
How much will I need?
How much coolant will I need?

and will I absolutly have to change/have ATF Fluid?

Thanks

p.s its a 1 plug VTS with around 71K done on it.

10w 40 or 5w 40 oil - 3.5 litres (Inc filter change) I use fully syth but semis fine
The engine/rad will take 6.5litres of water/coolant mix (say a 50/50mix)
And if your removing the box which you will be, things will get messy if you don't drain the box, you will need 2 litres to fill up
Hope this helps

haynes says 6.1 liters for cooling system (50/50 mix of antifreeze and water, that'll give protection down to -37 degrees), 2 liters on gearbox oil, 3.5 liters of 10w40 semi synthetic, only put a liter or so in at a time keep checking check the dip stick and there is 1.5 liters of oil between min and max points on the stick :y:
