VTS Engine into VTR, W reg

Hey i've been searching and scanning most threads and stickys on the converstion however i still seem to be a little phased on a few issues, My VTR is a W reg mark2 shell with a mark1 engine which consists of a single plug ecu which W reg vtrs do however from what i've found most seem to have the large plug loom behind the p/s headlight which is said to be easier to change over to a 3 plug ecu setup however mine still has smaller connecters, So my question is - What would be the best way of getting a vts converstion? Using mark1 engine loom etc and changing my dials to mark1 also, What else would be involved loomwise?

I would like to also add i do relise finding the same aged car in vts form with the same loom etc would be easiest but the chances are very slim and even more slim due to people claiming there Wreg vtr/s have the large plug loom behind headlight

I put a W reg VTR engine into my old MK1, That had the big plug behind the headlight as my 1.1 only had the small, I'd suggest getting a new triple plug with full car loom and put in the extra work :-) If not I'm sure someone will give you pointers on the wiring for the 2 plugs
