my 1.1 to vts conversion

hey i am half way throught my engine swap and have got stuck with the drivers side engine mount, the mount that came with the vts will not fit into the engine bay, and the 1.1 mount will not fit onto the vts lump, i have a 1.1 year 2000 saxo and am fitting an engine from a 2003 saxo please help

Need to weld on the bracket that's on vts shells onto the 1.1 shell

try using the 1.1 mount with the vts bracket, make 1 mount out of the 2

Do you know how I can it I looked at it an tried but its not having it these so much of a difference

I'm quite sure vts into 1.1 shell, the only option is to weld the vts bracket on, you can get away with using a 1.1 mount on a 1.4 and vtr block as the water pump housings are the same.

the mounts in 2 parts. take the orang bit off your vts mount and use the 1.1 part. i dont know if this will defo work though

He done this conversion to a open top model before
He is your best bet
