Hi everyone!
I'm in big dilema which radiator to use for my 106 rallye s1 16v turbo. In the very hot days my temp sits a little bit higher than i want, so i think i need bigger radiator, especially for track days.
At the moment i use nissans s1 rallye radiator but i noticed that the gti one is 1cm thicker (which means it'll use more water) and better cooling.... Also i'm not sure if the diesel rad is a bigger one too ?
So my question is is it worth changing my radiator for gti one or diesel one ?

get a diesel rad 100%. if this is in a s1 then space will be an issue anyway and a gti one is big as it has the header tank built into it.

you can also get "water wetter" which you add with your coolant and it decreases temp of up to 15 degs.

Sorry but i heart for the first time for "water wetter" - what is it and also where i can buy it ?

Most people go for the copper core diesel radiators with a large header tank. With a turbo the oil does tend to heat up some what so it is worth getting a dedicated oil cooler if you have not already got one.

go for a diesel and search for alloy renault 5 header tanks on ebay, go for pennies these days and most are nicely sized

Yes i have fitted oil cooler now, so only my water radiator needs to go bigger...
So diesel one is my best option ?

Danny do you know off hand the dimensions for the diesel rad? Ill probably opt for one of those with my AX combined with the header tank due to limited space at the front.
