Is there any difference between the mark1 VTS engine and the mark2 VTS engine and can you tell if they have been chipped. Mine is a mk 1 T Reg and my mate has just got a mk 2 02 Plate.

As i understand the were various minor tweaks made to the engine over the course of it's life. Although I am unsure of what tweaks these included they are likely to be some of the following:
Reliability (refined engine parts)
efficiency
smoother torque profile/minor increases in torque
emissions
Now im not saying these are massive improvements (or even noticable) but I suspect some of these will be better on the MK2 compared with a MK1
:)
