hi, when i change gear from first into second my car jumps about abit not every time im not sure if im givein it enough revs because when i accelertate when its doing it the car like boosts and i can feel it pulling, its only a 1 litre and iv not been driving long am i changein gear to fast? please help :)

what revs are you at when changing gear?

Does it only do it from 1st to 2nd?
If you change gear higher up the rev range does it still do it?

M8 when i firt had my vtr it was jumping but i changed the timing belt and water pump and now its stopped and never happens. maybe worth changing the timing belt as it worked for me.

Thats a fair comment mate but alot to ask as it could cost an arm & a leg :y:.
Personally if your new to driving it could be down to learning the car, In my opinion it taktes a good 6 - 12 months to get used to a car. Without sounding harsh as i dont mean to but the 1.0 is very underpowered and you may find the car struggles sometimes, but i would say your taking your foot off the clutch too quick :y:
