Just put in a good quality 5w 40 fully synthetic oil
I use valvoline racing 5w 40 fully synthetic , my car has covered 120,000 miles

Part synthetic will normally be 10w 40 which is slightly thicker & will be cheaper to buy.
It will still be ok,
Does your car use much oil ?

5w 50 just means it's got a higher temperature rating.
I track my car , I use 5w 40 .
If it was a turbo car then I would use 5w 50

just had a blown gasket so had the head skimmed and overhauled so the answer to ur question regarding oil is it did wen it was leaking lol but not to sure yet, puting it back on today,it idled rough so puting a new coil pack on cos the old wre it plugs in was abit loos if thaqt makes sense so hoping all will be ok.
