spark plugs

ive got a mate who is selling some performance spark plugs cheap and was wondering if they are any good and worth buying?

i guess it depends on how cheap the ones he is offering are and how knakered yours might be. If yours are on the way out then now would be an ideal time to change :D:

no difference to standards unless the car is boosted.

normal new standard ones would be much better than used aftermarket.
also try asking the sparkplug person to provide information and data on how their plug is better, bet they wont or will provide sales crap.

i have quad tip ones i told the guy servicing my car to leave them in rather then new standard but only coz i put them in little more than 6 months ago so no point
