Hey guys my engine mounts are nackered, lot's of engine movement. As im replacing them all i might as up grade to a harder mount, so group N. I cant seem to find a full kit for the mk2 apart from the vibra technic ones and pug sport. I dont dont fancy spending £200 if im honest.
Any idea?
Cheers!

I saw one of your comments on another thread on the forum, will you be selling a kit any time soon?

yes, but we are waiting on the testing. Sadly the decision to sell to customers is out of our hands. As soon as we can buy stock in we will be!

I would imagine we will be similar to the vibratechnics ones. Hopefully a little cheaper. The Peugeot Sport ones are a rediculous price though

I would suggest the vibratechnics mounts tbh if your car is still used daily the fast road ones are more than adequate, and have a shit load less vibration than the Peugeot sport ones (I've had both fitted) I've tried all sorts of combinations of mounts cause I'm quite picky on how my car drives I like it to be perfect lol. And overall the fast road kit is great vast improvement over standard, and still not too much vibration so is still quite comfortable to drive with
But unfortunately there the prices your going to have to pay
Think of it this way, o/e mounts from Citroen will probably cost not a lot less so may aswell pay the little extra, and aftermarket copy's of the standard mounts are still going to be touching £100 area I'd have thought, so may aswell just pay the extra tbh
Or just fit a better lower engine mount and see how that fairs up with the standard upper 2, because the upper 2 may be fine it's just the lower mount causing excess movement, and if your doing that you want the vibratechnics lower mount tbh that's actually harder than the peugeot sport group n, but with it being hard rubber there's still that bit of movement you need there, because the car is driven on roads daily you still want a bit of movement, there's no need for mega stiff mounts unless the cars seeing a track tbh mate
Hope that helps

Car is a daily dont want it to harsh. Its the upper engine mount which is knackered, the buffer is also perished :/ Thanks for the input guys! Much appreciated! Ill either get standard replacements as the ones now have lasted 70,000 miles so would be a vast improvement. If ive got some spare coins ill get the Vibras :)
Thanks all!
