I am just about to order my manifold and supersprint backbox, i have a 1.1 centre section that i fitted 4 days ago.... is the supersprint centre section any better than the 1.1 centre section? If yes why?

Never seen one them ones in person they're pretty new. You're best off double checking with Kam Racing, they've got their own forum on here.

Usually you fit the first lambda sensor to the manifold, then you get a sleeve to fit the second lambda sensor so it reads clean air.

the other thing is the supersprint is a straight through stainless steel pipe not a mid steel with a silencer

yea, its 50mm dia. no cat or silencer. made of aluminised steel and dont weigh as much either. backbox and midsection weigh 5kgs together iirrc

So is the supersprint backbox going to fit straight onto my 1.1 centre section or is it too big?

Im not going to say yes as im not 100% sure with a 1.1, but!.. the supersprint backbox is a direct bolt on to a standard 106 quicksilver mid section and that is not 50mm dia.
The ends on the mid section are flanged and so is the supersprint box, so the dia of the pipe is not infact relevant as its about the flange size and they are the same
