doubt it will be cammed, you checked the timing?

maybe just a worn out engine? something loose?, you can tell if its cammed really lumpy, easiest way is to have a little race with another vtr

That wont really help mate, reason being if it is cammed and running lumpy, chances are it hasnt been mapped causing it to run lumpy so he wont see any gains anyway, best thing to do is take the head off and check the cam, if its aftermarket its usually written on the cam itself

Can't you tell from simply looking at the cam? :s

if its cammed they will have a stamp on the cam from witch it has come from example catcams will have that stamp on the neck of the cam. Hope this helps
