my vts cut out on me lastnight,iv checked the throtle body thismorning and thers oil in it could this be the problem,if so could it have to much oil in,saying that when i checked the oil a couple of days ago it was above the max line,any help pls,cheers

How much oil is in there? There will always be some oil, unless you have an oilcatch tank on it. The oil comes from the oil breather system which ís guide throught the throttlebody from the cam cover.

its not pissing out but i dint think ther should be any,could the battery be the problem?

how did it cut out? While driving or when parked? Could be many things...
Battery shouldnt be a problem, it is primaryly used to start the car...

Sounds like you too much oil in the car should be around the half way mark on the dipstick that might be why you have oil in the throttal body.
