hello everyone, been doing a bit of surfing on the net and some peeps came up with a interesting bit of info. Apparently the vts throttle body is a fair bit bigger then the vtr one. has anyone done this conversion??? also would the injectors swap over???
i came across it when i was trying to find some information out about motorbike throttle bodies. i.e what size would work on a vtr

A vts TB wont fit on a vtr inlet so you would need to make a adapter plate. A lot of work for no gain.

Injectors will fit but would need mapping. Unless your engine requires higher flow rate injectors why do you need to change them?

i just want to muck around with a little project to make my vtr a bit quicker. so was thinki9ng about collecting a load of parts with the view to fixing them on and getting it mapped. i understand if i want motorcycle throttle bodies i would need a different ecu

If you have a vtr with the early blacktop engine fitted you would be better looking for a Pug S1 Rallye inlet and tb which is a fair size up from the vtr one.

the s1 rallye TB is ever so slightly bigger, its not MUCH bigger, but the vtr tb has restriction, can be ported out if need be, the vts TB would be a small benefit with supporting mods if remmapped, nothing worth singing about tbh, the injectors however wont fit without modification
