was talking to a mate the other day and we both thought about cutting a small hole next to the radiator on the right hand side in the panel to put the cold air feed through to the front bumper mouth
if i did that do you think i should brace the panel with some metal strips?
not my pic but to get the idea, on the panel on the right next to the radiator

theres already a hole big enough for a cold air feed at the bottom right corner of the radiator.
i've got a k&n gen 2 and have attached the cold air feed to this with a cable tie and its been fine.
saves you cutting the panel :y:

kinda wanted it a bit higher so its not in susceptible to water ingress up to the filter

your bumper protects it from that.
the air goes through the vents, so minimal water could get to the feed, if any, unless you're wading through deep water lol.
someone also told me to put it there because there will be less air turbulence, but what difference that would make is anyones guess
