Personally if you cant get hold of an ecu from andy (predator) as not sure if hes sorted one for the 8v yet.

An emerald, Omex or DTA.

I personally wouldnt map the standard ECU due to there being limited numbers of mappers available. If you are near norwich then emerald is the good choice as dave walker is based there

Okay cheers Ryan so if I pm predator see if he can do them that would be the right thing to chose or one of them ecus you've listed. Bug where could I get one from? Also just wanted to know when my throttle bodies come can I obviously run it on standard ecu till I get a different one?

No dont PM predator thats the name o the ecu lol. Andy - luthor1 on here and datashift affiliate section

if you try and run the standard ECU unmapped with the cam and bodies dont expect to get far.

Do it all in one go and then mapped. Soooo much easier. Andys ecu if he's doing for the vtr plugs straight in the others need hardwiring.

I am going to be interested in this soon! I don't think Pred does and 8v ECU for a single plug R yet. We are suggesting Emerald/Omex otherwise. I will check out the group buy for the emerald now, but any other suggestions are welcome :y:
