Ive recently purchased a VTR phase 1 to turn into a track car. I've noticed some issues with it though as its done about 100k.
"Knock" from the bay upon sharp acceleration and on/off throttle pedal depressions - new mounts needed?
Smoke on startup - stem seals? Is this worth me doing or just chucking in another engine.
It appears to be a single plug ECU so if its un-economical to fix the 8v would I be better chucking in a 16v or JP4? Will I need to run a return fuel line to the tank too?
I require a sunroof blanking kit too if anyone has one as I want to remove the sunroof.
