Mk1 radiator fan on mk2?

Does anybody know if they are the same? i need a new fan housing as mine exploded on me, got sombody offering me the fan off an mk1 vtr but i have a mk2 vtr.

dont wanna buy it then it not fit.

itll fit, but theres a chance your lower rad hose will be too short. Mk2 uses a wider rad than the mk1, but otherwise theyre the same. Use a mk1 lower rad hose, and itll be fine.
