Exhaust problem.

Its done this before, but didnt do it, although now its back. Basically the whole exhaust system shakes and when under acceleration it sounds exactly like a petrol lawnmower. Bad chugging sound. Help?

Check that all the clamps are done up tightly?

might sound out but a misfire makes the engine move and therefore moves the exhuast only thoght this as u said runninglike a lawn mower

As mentioned above, check that all the clamps and bolts are done up tightly + ensure that all hangers are fitted.

If this is not the problem, it could be that the engine mounts are either on their way out, or have gone (can check this by seeing if the engine moves quite freely on its mounts)

Im convinced its engine mounts. It happened again sunday and popped the bonnet up, engine shakes a bit more than usual. But after 2 hours left alone (while i was trainin) it was back to normal with no problems. It only does it occasional. Dont get it.
