99% of the time these fake coilpacks are a total waste of time. Weak sparks and break down in no time atall.

Ok well would an engine diagnostics pick up if my coil pack was knackered?

Mine showed up because the diagnostics machine showed the coil voltages and one was dropping intermitedly.

what would be the advantage of that?

no performance gain on a stock engine, but more reliable + higher spark energy available.

we use them on the turbo cars to handle over 400bhp no problem.

I have a genuine coilpack which is more or less new. Bought it for my s/c project but im changing to a MSD with leads.

Let me know if your interested!

I assume your coilpack cover has to be got rid of if you convert to that kit?

Did you buy it new yourself mate or do you no how many miles it's covered?

Yeah i bought it myself. The car hasn't been on the road since i bought it, few miles round the block thats it.

Ok mate well I've got the car booked in for service so if the service dosent cure it will get him to check the coil pack and if it is down to that will be in touch with you matey.

cheaper than the ht lead conversion, although they do look nice lol

100 quid? Think the garage only charged me like 50 quid for a new one :S

just need to trim the edge so the leads can pass under.

8V ones are alot cheaper than the vts ones generally.

When it comes to coilpacks and sensors though its practically always worth going for OEM. Eurocarparts are the worst, lost count of the amount of parts ive fitted only to break a week later.. or never work in the first place. I don't deal with them for most stuff anymore unless they sell genuine oem stuff

Genuine Citroen parts are sometimes cheaper than aftermarket parts Depends what it is though !
