I know this is supposed to be listed in links but I feel this needs some general forum answering...

SORRY IF THIS IS A REPOST

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2818678.htm

For sale here my 1998 Saxo VTR in silver with Rotrex c30-74 charger conversion

75,000 miles
2 previous owners
No tax
No M.O.T
Part service history
Kept in garage
Very well looked after car

GMC supercharger conversion
Rotrex c30-74 charger
Omego Low Comp Pistons
Upgraded Rods
ARP head bolts
12 row oil cooler
Front Mount Intercooler
Sparco boost pipes
Large Slim line radiator
Header Tank
440cc 5th injector
MF2 fuel controler
GMC Piggy Back ECU
Upgraded Exhaust manifold
Full Stainless exhaust with de cat

Helix 4 plate paddle clutch
Willwood midlite 4 pots on the front
Braided brake pipes all round
TSW trackstar wheels
Yokohama tyre's

Car has been lowered 40mm all round, on the front it's eibach springs not sure of the shocks, at the rear a brand new back axle was fitted by Citroen to the car and set 40mm at time of fitting so back axle is absolutely rock solid with no camber issues.

Good Points
Reliable low mileage Car in great condition for it's age, paintwork and the interior is mint condition. A proper supercharger conversion done by GMC not a nasty home made stunt. Having just over 170bhp at 7psi it's a very fast little car which is remarkably easy to drive on a day to day basis even in the wet plus the charger sounds excellent.

Bad Points
No tax or m.o.t and the clutch plate needs re plated at a cost of £60 from CG Motorsport, the peddle is slightly high and a bit jutterey.

Overall it's a good little car in great condition, should only need front pads for m.o.t which I have so no expenditure there, the clutch that is currently fitted as I have mentioned will just need removed and sent off for replating so it's not a massive issue. I have not used the car on a regular basis since around august/september when the clutch started to play up, with it being my second car it wasn't a priority to fix and now I would rather have the space in my garage freed up and the car go to someone who'd appreciate it.

Looking for £1650 although open to sensible offers

WHY SO CHEAP?

i think your missing the point lol
a £60 clutch isnt going to make a 'supercharged' saxo worth £1600

Certainly could be worth a look, surely breaking it for parts could be beneficial for someone

Yes because a car too shit to pass an mot makes for an ideal car to be ragging to death at high speed around a track :S

Just because it doesn't have an MOT doesn't make it unsafe! Alot of people with cars solely for track use don't bother with an MOT as u don't need it so your witty comment looks stupid now

This could make quite a good little project. Might have to inquire further in to this.

Boy? Lol and exactly where does it say that it's failed it's MOT? It says it has no MOT not that it failed

Got an email back from the chap and he said he's gonna upload some bay pictures to the pistonhead add or email me some over.

M.O.T. wise he said the car needs new pads and the brakes possibly bled due to it being sat for a few months. Also said he'd throw in some Willwood break fluid in too. There's also a bit of blistering under the passenger inner wheel arch.

Reason its so cheap is because apparently the shell is solid apart from the little bit of blistering and he doesn't want to break it as the car is perfectly fine and just needs the little bits above to pass. He has lost interest in the French Car scene so doesn't want to Tax or MOT it, just wants rid.

Hope this helps and will post pics up if he sends me some tomoz :y:
