If you want PAS and ABS then buy a VTS, in all honesty it will cost fuck loads (i'd buy a VT anyway)
if you just want the engine you'll need the clocks etc as well as some front struts and rear beam. I would just buy the VTS though

its good saying that. But you will need a 4 bolt hub so they can fit!

you will need the ecu unlocking mate. www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk
these do it and should give you a rough idea for the price.
the conversion will be a lot easier if you get a vts engine from a car the same MK as yours i.e. if yours is mk1 get a mk1 engine! just that the looms are slightly different and the ecu's changed from a single plug to 3 plug.
yes you will need;
engine,
ecu,
gearbox(or could use your 1.1 box!)
wiring loom.
you will also need a vts radiator and fan which should just bolt straight on.
what car is it at the mo?
im not sure but you may need vtr/s driveshafts.
are you doing it yourself? if so check that you have a fuel return pipe as well as a feed otherwise you will need to plumb one in!
yes you will need a 4 bolt hub. if you on a buget dont bother splashin out on gti-6 brakes just get some vtr/s ones.

looking at either a smashed vts or just getting the parts from the scrappy..
they deliver to your door for free and everything has a gurantee with it and you can return within 2 weeks if you dont want it for full money back
cool will look for a mk1 vts then
cheers all this is helping alot

You don't necisarily need to buy the same mark engine, but all the cabling etc should be from the same mk.
PM AXO16V, Tam, on the SSC. I can almost garantee he'll have what you want, won't over charge you and has provided a good honest service to lots and lots of people on the SSC. He is also offering free delivery to anyone attending Kames, which is good news for you if you can make it over! Tam has loads of dead saxo's in his scrappy, he will almost definately have what you need
