i heard that a lightened flywheel will struggle at the sight of a decent hill can anybody explain why this is tome please as i struggle to understand

You will just have to accelerate more to get it up the hill, The original flywheel is a large and heavy rotating mass which in effect stores energy to keep the engine moving during non power strokes, so with lightened flywheel you will have less rotating mass keeping the engine moving/crankshaft rotating at a constant velocity :y: , in effect the engine may decelerate faster but on a plus it will pick up faster on acceleration, hope this helps
