What is it and how can i stop it from leaking. Im getting the headgasket done just incase its that but many are saying it wont be as they usually leak from the left if its the headgasket. So what is causing it to leak from the right?

i would say its the headgasket. they can leak at any point around the block, but their are the most 'common' places. i.e the left of the block.

If it's the right (as you look at the engine, I assume) it could be the cam shaft cover(s) leaking. They are prone to it and more so to the right on the back one. If it's dry above the headhgasket though it obviously isn't that.

more likely the rocker cover leaking not the headgasket, never really heard of a head gasket leaking oil apart from on my dad's old honda cb550 but thats got little rubber seals around the oil galleries wich perish

Ohh Cam Cover.

Or Rocker Cover, you replace that big black rubber seal that runs around the bottom of the rocker cover :)

Nah its not the rocker cover. I have sorted it now hopefully, the spring and seal, cam oil seal jobby. Im getting a headgasket set with all the seals in comes with valve seal too, not going to use the actual headgasket from it though as it looks shit! Got the one from GMC today so hopefully come the 8th she will be running sweet again WITHOUT SWEEPING OIL GRRRRR!
