The time has now could and the service is due and I shall be doing it myself. just a few quick questions as its been a whole year since I did this last.
1. Should I let the car cool down first before I take the old oil out and add the new gear?
2. Whats the best oil to get, W40 10 or whatever?!?
3. and finaly spark plugs, whats the best for our lovely saxo!
Cheers

dont forget the oil filter! and your air filter if needs be! lol
type of oil best suited to your car is written in your haynes service and repair manual. heaven forbidden if you havent got one then a trip to halfords and they have book of which oil to use in specific cars.
when i did all of mine i did it on a warm engine to get the oil warmed a bit.
not sure on spark plugs though mate, had them done when they failed a couple month back at Citroen.

1> warm oil will flow out easier, just dont do a 100 mile trip then dump it:P
2> 10 W40 ish or see the pinned topic in here for recommendations
3> All do the same some bosch/ngk ones i have always used and never missed a beat.
Change oil filter, air filter, oil and plugs. If its been a while change the fuel filter as well. COuld go the whole hog and do new coolant and stuff but not really necessary
