Wondering if anyone has ever done this ?, i know it will basically fit in the space provided just might need to be adapted to sit right.

reason im asking is because im thinking about what the best induction setups would be as im looking for something that combines looks with performance.
i currently have a raceland but its annoying me due to the poor quality of fitting and i dont like the look of the vtr airbox lol

the 3 setups ive been thinking of are

Raceland scoop - green filter- silicone hose
Bmc - good cold air feed - silicone hose
Vts airbox - Upgraded panel filter- silicone hose

plus been seeing alot of threads recently of people getting better gains with a panel filter in standard airbox's.

Too many people on here 'over think' about little mods like induction kits.

Unless your competing in racing, chasing bhp figures, or running high power where the quality of the air filter effects the engine in terms of restricting it.. then i wouldn't give it too much thought.

I've seen lads on here with 1.1's, 1.4's and standard vtr's, vts's make a massive fuss over air filters and induction kits.

If you like the standard look and your VTR is pretty much standard, not running silly power, then i'd stick with standard oem box and upgrade the panel filter. Possibly try derestrict the piping to the filter a little bit.

Maybe the realist in me is coming out abit too much here. I'll leave someone else to comment.

I am trying to keep it OEM but want it to look good at the same time, the standard vtr setup doesn't look good and doesn't fill the engine bay at all.

I just thought maybe using the vts airbox would keep the oem look but also fill the bay and look good all at the same time.
