Hi All, i know this is quite a common problem with Saxo's but im hoping to narrow the problem down without replacing EVERYTHING.

MK1 Saxo VTR (98), Is misfiring whilst in motion and sometimes when idle (the revs bounce or idle @ 3-4rpm). It tends to happen once the engine has warmed up, going up hills or when travelling @ a constant throttle speed. Iv done some research and there is about 4-5 things it could be. From HT leads, LAMBA Sensor, ICV Sensor, Coil Pack or the Air Mass Sensor. Has anyone any ideas? I dont wanna spend a ton of money on it buying loads of different parts as this is a station run around i picked up for 500 quid!! Can you get an ECU report on these models?

Change the sparks for the misfiring & clean the idle valve.
