Hello,

I'm doing a few calcs and could do with knowing what the weight of the flywheel for the VTS is. Other flywheels are welcome although I'd prefer to know the VTS at the moment...

Any ideas!?

edit... and it's diameter too!

5.7 kilo's? I think it's a fair bit more than that.. I've got one in the garage, I'll stick it on the scales in a bit for you and reply..

I recall something around the 6kg mark, with the helix aluminium flywheels being half the weight at around 3kg

Andy, that'd be superb if you could measure it - the more accuracy the better basically.
Ross, didn't realise the lightweight ones were that light... that's a pretty substantial saving for a rotating mass :omg:

I stand corrected and humbled!!

It is exactly 5.7kg.

The diameter is 25.5cm from tip of the starter teeth to tip of starter teeth the other side.
