Hi,

I have just joined and wanted to say a quick hello to you all.

Currently myself and a friend are looking to purchase a track car and it looks like a VTS tops the bill.

I was wondering if anyone had any good advice for us while we are looking in the big bad world?

We are due to visit a private seller tomorrow night, the car looks ok on the ad but all will be told with an in the flesh viewing.

One thing I think you may be able to help me with is this:
The guy says the VTS engine fitted to the VTR shell has a "Rally" ECU.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these or different ECU's and what kind of gains can be had.

Here is a pic of said ECU

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

Sorry for posting in a few sections, just wanted to catch the two groups of members :)

Thanks
Alex

Why would you put an 8v rallye ECU on J4 engined car?
Unless they actually mean those group N rally ecus (correct me if thats not the right term)?
