can you buy (dont laugh) im more accustomed to classic stuff.
gasket material in a sheet too suit turbo/manifold gaskets?
i know theres gasket paper, ive used it for years but the mls stuff?
if so any links?

most ppl use copper or brass for them mate, takes the heat... so best of going to your local engineers or metal place for some,
my manfiold to turbo one is brass and is spot on, head to manifold is copper and also no probs with that either :y:, about 1mm thick or so

hmm, hadnt thought of that, and thats perfectly well sealing? i can get copper sheet easy enough. id not have thought it would be compliant enough to compress for a decent seal.

ive had no issues with mine mate.

well il be buggered, ok il get some copper sorted. atleast as the project progresses i can make gaskets as and when i want.......

well the fibrous type stuff really isnt up to scrath on most turbo set ups as they just get too hot, least with metal ones when the get hot theyll expand a little and seal better :y:
