Firstly, will a 4-1 manifold from a 106 8v XSi fit without relocating the oil filter, if at all?
Also, what do I do if the mani has 1 lambda hole and my R has 2 lambdas?
Cheers

i dont know if it will fit, but regarding to the lambdas, you plug the first sensor in to the new manifold (the one thats currently in the top of the vtr manifold) an dthe second one you can buy a sleeve, or make one, but GMC motorsport sell them i believe, so you just screw the second sensor which is mounted after the cat on the standard system into the sleeve so its reading clean air, thus stoping your EML from coming on on the dash. or if your not bothered about the EML just unplug it or leave it tied somewhere in the bay. all the second sensor does is tell the car the CAT is working, so it wont do any damage just unpluging it etc.
hope this helps.

Right, i've just won a sportex manifold on ebay for £50 delivered, cheap?
I assume i'm correct in thinking it will fit without any oil filter relocation?
As for the lambda holes, it has two....can I plug both lambdas into these without my eml light coming on or will i need to block the second one up and use a sleeve?
Cheers
if its a 4-1 mani yer it will go on no problem.

I'm gonna be honest and say, that that doesn't look like a Saxo Manifold? Looks weird how the down pipe bends outwards to the side?

It is the manifold for the mk2 they made to clear the oil filter, hence the flange and kink to the side.

Ive heard that sportex manifolds are horrible to fit. I was against doing the oil filter conversion, until i did mine 3 weeks ago and to be honest it was easiest thing on the job took 5 mins. Hardest part is getting old manifold off.

If it doesn't fit properly it will be going back mate, but as its a second hand one I thought it would hopefully have been a decent fitting one as some say they are okay others say they don't fit i prosume its down to each individual one?
