Just to confirm
TU5J4 engine = 16v
TU5JP engine = 8v?

no.. i hink what your getting at is

TU5j4 = saxo VTS engine
TU5j'p'4 = c2 VTS engine


EDIT i was wrong.. totally miss read this,

yes VTR engine is jp..

VTS engines used to be denominated TU5JP4. Sometimes the P is put in. Example, Ive seen the 1.6 Rallye engine referred to in documents as TU5J2 or TU5JP2.

i always use the NFT / NFZ code for R engine's

right got ya i think. its just that the dealers giving me a choice between those two models for a water housing unit for my s engine. although they both look the same on the diagram i want to try and get it right this time as he ordered me the bloody hose last time and not the housing unit. so im guesing the 5j4 would be fine
