So how would you wrap up a 4-2-1 Manifold? Pro's/ Cons?

A looks a lot neater but B is easier. Soaking the wrap first makes it alot easier to do and stop's it itching your hands as much.
no pro's and con's really just make sure its tight and secure and shoul help keep the heat in the pipes and not the bay.

A will be more efficient as on b the wrap goes round several pipes at once leaving the inner sides of the pipes uncovered allowing the heat to rise and escape from the gap.

Wet the wrap before you start and wear gloves!!!

I've read about it itching your hands.
Why do you wet it first? Does it expand then when it drys, it shrinks, getting nice and tight to the manifold?

Makes it easier to work with and pull tight but also doesn't mess your hands up as bad

sorry to hi-jack your post, but when you have wrapped up the mani, do you put jubilee clips on or something to hold the wrap in place or will it just stick and thats it?

eh?
The idea of lagging is to keep the heat in the exhaust!

I think he's saying heat will escape from the unwrapped portions of header, and will rise up and escape out of the large gap in the top of the wrapping into the engine bay - undesirable.
