I haven't tried mine to see how high it revs but yeah the main power is after 4k, before that it's just like an R or something :p

RPM dials are out a lot of the time. Mine will rev to 7.5k as well and still no limiter.

My old one used to go past 8 just out of interest lol, i think it was fucked or apparently it was "remapped" i think the previous owner was told it was remapped but it was completely standard just with raised rev limit :/

The tachometer is about as accurate at the speedometer.

LOL At what speed though... 60 mph? extrapolate that to 100 mph and you're actually doing 90 ish. It's roughly a 10 % speedo error. This is why thread where people claim their standard VTS have got to 140 mph is in the realms of dreamland.

Lmao. I got 122 out of my VTR, with more power to go, but traffic stopped moi. Take it I was in dream land then :(.

Sounds like mine, rev counter goes to 7600 until im hitting limiter
at 4k revs there is a lurch in power usually at a wild jerk and a bang from the zorst
