having a bit of an issue guys

i bought a T piece to fit an oil pressure sensor to the front of the block where the original pressure switch is. Its going turbo so then the oil feed comes out the front of the T

problem is, the hole for the pressure switch sits in front of the dipstick so the massive pressure gauge sender doesnt fit

options are:

speak to an engineering company to get another half a turn thread added to the adaptor - cost ???

fit the pressure sender to the remote filter head provided i get on with the right fitting - will this sense the correct pressure or is the pressure lower in the filter? - cost about £3 extra for the head with a threaded hole

fit a washer to the t piece to stop it going in half a turn - I added 1 washer and it wasnt enough, would need two or three - problem is the possibility of leaks? will using the washers with a rubber insert stop this?

any other ideas?

Remote t piece will do the trick.

For reference the thread in the front of the block is m16x1.5
Then decide what size you need for the other end 1/8 NPT?

Plenty of other adapters available also.
