hello
sorry for my bad english i am french
I bought an exhaust saxsport, but I have not seen the original exhaust to pass the ct "MOT french" :wall:
so I think buying exhaust with sports cat
but I wonder if the cat version is much less performance than the version without the cat?
thank you :y:

Can't see it making a massive difference. You could always get a standard exhaust from a breakers yard and get a standard system for mot. That's what i have

I would advise looking for genuine Citroen 2nd hand catalysts if possible (on eBay for instance) - They are much better than any aftermarket catalyst I've come across. When you require the French MOT, put it on - once it passes, remove again :)

Okay I see... I have no direct use of a sports catalyst so I can't comment on their performance (in terms of power or emissions). Is there much availability in France for sports cats for the Saxo?

Sports cats are a less efficient design than a standard type. They do not restrict or affect flow too much so you only tend to loose 1 or 2 bhp.
