Isit possible to notice a difference? I feel like my accelerator is alot more responsive, and it sounds smoother/cleaners... After, of course, the drive shaft rattling noise stops every 1000 rpm or so.

Definately. Getting rid of old dirty/ clogged filters for new and oil change. Does the car a world of good.

A good service makes a hell of a difference, my old car when serviced felt like it had gained another engine

Yeah, I was thinking every 10k too! Even though it says 50. I found a site that does a full full full service for £175, and the list of shit they done was immense.. Quite expensive though, that would be a gourmet treat when my baby's been behaving ;)

every 5k... its cheap enough and easy enough to service your car youself. And i just enjoy doing a service so do it when i feel like it!!!

i service mine every 5 - 10 k or when things are looking dirty and im bored, if your into cars enough to b eon forums like this, you may aswell learn how to do basic things such as filter changes, oil/coolant changes and gasket changes, also a good clean, de grease and re grease gives you a world of good, rebuild of calipers helps etc too.

in simple terms, look after your car and she will look after you. she is french remember!
