just wondering your experience if you had? thanks

Yes

The only way to describe it was that it looked like a Honey Comb

I used a Mahoosive, thick long ratchet to batter it out. It was worn out and started to rattle. On my Punto.

My experience: Louder exhaust sound then on standard exhaust system. Seemed a bit better on acceleration. Failed its M.O.T. But when you got a mate that will pass you, its fine. Stunk of petrol when in traffic or on a cold day/ cold start up.

Sometimes it made a noise that gurgled and splutter when you reved the engine.

Why do you want to do it to yours?

My vtr is decatted with a supersprint decat but the cat I had was crazy - you can see right through it!

i did it already on my mk 2 vtr cat under mani, it was like what the radiator is made of! sounds awsome.... would a 421 sound even better

if you get a manifold get a 4-1.

Did you guys get any codes on the ECU when you removed the cat?

On my Subaru WRX when I removed the cat I got all kinds of error codes from the ECU because of oxygen sensors. I actually ended up installing an aftermarket ECU that had a cat elimination option lol

No ECU lights on my car.. The mani was UNDER the car, no where near the lamba sensors.
