we modified it in true style! blow torch came out to play & so did mr hammer! LOL
the exhaust was catching it not the manifold although it does fit very snugg to the gearbox! good fit though better than ive seen elswhere!

i had an ashley comp manifold for my old mk1 vtr and that used to hit the linkage when in 2nd and also in 4th and reverse. iv done my 16v conversion to vts and now the standard system hits the same linkage. anyone know how to sort it?

heat up the pipe work & clamp it or hammer it so the linkages miss it! mine hit the exhaust though not the manifold....
mine was spot on mate, just needed to enlarge the holes a tad for the studs. it did rattle for a while, but i sorted it out.
fitted manifold and didnt tighten the studs, connected to the de cat pipe (not tight) then fitted the bolt in the bracket on the manifold that connects to the gearbox, tightened the decat joint, tightened the manifold studs, then the manifold/gearbox bracket. it pulls alot harder around 4k with the manifold fitted lol
