I have an oil temp gauge in the sump (xsi engine) so I want to wire it up to an aftermarket vdo gauge. So its live and earth to the positive and negative terminals on the back of the gauge and then run a wire from the "load" terminal on the gauge to the sump sensor?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram or info on which pin I need to use on the sensor itself or how they did their own one. thanks

The sensor only has one pin, so that should eer narrow it down a bit :D

no saying the oem sensor has the same range as your aftermarket one though, usually dials come with a matching sensor which if your lucky you can replace with the standard one

Cheers mate I'd not taken a look at the sensor plug on the sump! Its a VDO gauge I'm fitting so I'll have to see what it does
