Hey, a quick couple of questions. I have tried the search with a little luck. I understand the c2 vts engine only came in one specification right?
Now, now how does this engine in an mark 2 vts compare against a standard vts engine? Any extra gains, standard va standard?

Only reason I ask, is as I've seen a vts hoping to buy but the engine the old vts engine was replaced by one of these. Also, do the mark 2 Saxo performance parts ie manifold cams etc fit on the newer vts engine?

Thanks!

USually slightly faster if they used both engines to make one... theres a few threads on it

And yes, the mani port spacing etc should be the same on them both

saxo vts engine i would say is stronger , there prob about the same power apart from the c2 vts cylinder head has larger inlet valves there for it flows better.

folk that upgrade to c2 vts jp4 engines usually use J4(saxo vts engine) cylinder head parts ie the valve springs etc as there alot stronger and last longer

hope that helps

Kyle your Avatar is magnificent.

Oh and as standard you wouldn't notice any difference between the j4 and jp4.
