surely its easier to just remap/go standalone and have it running better?
isn't this exactly the same as one of those resistors in a box jobbies?

yes stu, ppl fit them to fool the ecu into not hitting the overboost fuel cut when they turn the boost up, very dangerous

just dont understand what the standard map sensor will be reading on boost?
so it doesnt need clamping to stop fuel cut?

The standard sensor is gunna see boost, no matter what you do, I compensated using the pots on the mf2 to turn the 5th injector up. So when ecu does see boost and starts to remove fuel, my 5th injector is making up for it. If I were you go dastek not mf2 it's way to crude and a pain in my experience. oh and ecu won't remove fuel above 5psi, I know, because I've tried it.

cheers stevo
once it hits 5psi does it slowly remove fuel or just cut it?

Well my afr gauge started leaning out so my bro turned fuel up and got it in the green again. It doesn't cut fuel off like you think it's gradual. I would seriously go dastek or standalone mate honestly. Mf2 is a right pain and not to good for the engine. I know when I get my new run about I'll be rebuilding this with a decomp, bigger turbo and a pred standalone. :y: no fueling hassle or restricted boost then, well unless your after crazy power.
