Yes will be ok. Get a 4-1 mani though as 4-2-1 u have to move oil filter.

with a full manifold and supersprint exhaust you are looking at 12-15bhp. The standard system is rubbish.

Sound wise, imo yes.
It's well worth the difference over a standard system.

I'm not worried about the power too much as its only a vtr I just want it to sound nice

you dont need to move the oil filter if your fitting a supersprint 4-2-1. all other 4-2-1 manifolds you will need to relocate it as they either touch it or are to close for comfort.
all 4-1 manifolds will fit as said above tho :y:

The Supersprint manifold (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/citroen-saxo/saxo-exhaust/exhaust-manifold/supersprint-inox-race-manifold-citroen-saxo-8v.html) is very close

apparently the sportex one misses the oil filter and i dont really want to spend £250 on a new system i want to try get a second hand one

i had a sportex one, unless you want to be grinding bits off left right and centre to get it to fit/line up then i would avoide them if i was you.
they are pants.
if you dont want to move the oil filter, buy a raceand 4-1 from pug1off there approx £170.

ok chers for that dont really wanna but fooking about with it lol, is there any difference between a 4-2-1 and a 4-1 noise wise

unless your car is a finely tuned track monster you wont notice much (if any) difference between noise or performance between the 4-1 and 4-2-1.
suposedly the 4-1 gives better gains high up the rev range and the 4-2-1 better gains throughout the whole rev range.
but as i said, you wont notice much difference bewteen the two normal driving, and either will be a great gain over the standard system.
Raceland is the way forward if you dont want to be spending alot, im picking one up for £80 next friday :y:

ok mate cheers yeah ive heard bad things about raceland my mate had one and after about 2 months on the car it had cracked so that put me off

all performcance manifolds are prone to cracking as there such a large piece all in one, so theres alot more straine on them, rather than the standard stuff.
ive never know any to crack personaly tho.

do you have to move the oil filter with the raceland?
