Why would you want to do that? just buy a saxo vtr engine mate, cheap enough these days

the same money you could buy that for you can do an 'r' or 's' conversion (unless its peanuts cheap)
It says you have a 1.0 saxo? if that is the case, youd need braking and sus mods either way :D

Depends which 1.6 engine it is. If its a TU then yes and its basically a VTR engine.

A friend, did build a 1.6 16v(tu5jp4) from a 206 in his 106.
But he did change the cams, inlet(206 was electronic) and engine mount to make it work and fit in his 106.
