GMC Motorsport have been doing their own brand of camshafts for the VTS that are supposed to be very similar to the PH3/708. They're supposed to be machined and manufactured very well, but I've not heard of any reviews or experience of them fitted and mapped because they've not been out long. As soon as I see some dyno graphs or good write ups on a few sets they're probably what I'm going for, sure they were less than £250 delivered with VAT from GMC unless they've gone up?

Wasn't suggesting they weren't good bits of kit at all as I'm sure they're brilliant, it's just a lot of cash to fork out when the PH3 and 708 have both got dozens of threads showing good results, but that's the challenge you face bringing a new product into a competitive market I suppose!

If you feel like selling me a set at a discount I'll promise to post up a thread with lots of pictures of the build and mapping process to show how good they are? ;)

But seriously, I've already bought a few bits from you and everything is well engineered and good quality so I've no doubt the cams will be the same, and as soon as I've got the funds available I'll be going for a set.

i read this at another product (camshaft) on your site:
IF FITTING THESE TO A C2 OR 206 OR 16v saxo/106 AFTER 2001 --THEN YOU MAY NEED NEW CAM BOLTS +WASHERS

what does that mean? the bolts in the timing-belt pulley or in the aluminium gear top?

And do you have some close up pictures of your cams?

Thank you.
