I had a 1400 which ended up going for the head gasket. The only engine I could get handy was a 1600 picasso engine so I built all my 1400 running gear onto the 1600 head and block, all sensors, loom etc, manifolds etc.
First time starting the engine, it was reving the head of itself, checked everything, throttle not stuck, butterfly closed etc.
When I disconect the sensor on the left of the inlet manifold it was idle but is very very lumpy, Not sure if this is the problem or not.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of this, any help would be appreciated
