All Saxo gearboxes are the same size and fitting, they will all fit all saxos. So yes.

A 1.1 box on a 1.4 should be fine but when you start putting them on 1600's be gentle with them as theyre made from chocolate and will impload..

they have what is known as a 'sports diff' in the 1.6 8v and 16v's from the VTR/S, these are meant to cope with putting down that huge saxo POWWAAHH better.. the others are like cheese with really weak diffs.. with my old cammed VTR I literally blew the diff up and it ripped through the casing.. that was a 1.4 box. It soon shredded a 1.1 box after lol.

Maybe if you drive it hard rather than "ricing" it, youd blow it up sooner.

What does "riced" mean? do you boil your gearbox and eat it with curry?
