Hi, need a new gearbox for my saxo VTR, is it best to get one from ebay as there are some that are cheap (£70) or to get a reconditioned one which i heard would be between £300-£400 and if so does anyone know where to get one reconditioned? thanks.

Does the 1.1 box really make that much difference on acceleration, and i heard they dnt last long in vtr/s

been covered millions of time's :P yea they do have a noticeable difference. And they aren't as weak as people say. Mines been on 20k+ miles and 'driven hard' (like that gibbo?) and it's still perfect.
