Got an exhaust the other day, but its MAJORLY coked up; it came off a carbed car, and the carb was clearly out of tune as the exhaust is just black as fuck. You can punch the front pipe and big flakes of soot will fall out.

Anything I can use to get rid of it? I know exhausts will have carbon deposits as a matter of course but this is ridiculous.

Pour petrol in it and light that bitch. Mate used to do it on crosser exhausts and it worked

I would of thought just knock it out on a soft surface then to get the rest out fit it to your car and give it some round the block, should do the trick :)

the lighting petrol sounds like a good idea (despite me nearly blowing myself up with a leaf pile covered in petrol before). Might give it a whirl tomorrow.

just make sure it doesnt blow the filling out of any boxes. And that you dont do it to a CAT (unless you dont want it)
