Hi guys,
Wanting a little more power, and a nice sound, was thinking new exhaust route but want it to remain legal for mot's n that. So would i be right in saying buy a sports centre section and back box because the cats in a mk2 vtr are located by manifold?? cheers for any advice

cat is normally under the car, followed by a center section an then a bb, i personally liked the look of a magnex bb and a sports center but try kam racing for the exhaust systems as they are pukka

on mk2 the cat is in the manifold
on mk1 the cat is under the car
on vts the cats are under the car regardless of mk....
i have a mk2 furio with full supersprint on, sounds great even with a cat on!

I like the look of the kam racing supersprint exhaust centre section, would you.recomend the backbox to go with it or soming else, also how does it sound/ a small power gain? Once again thanks for advice.

we dont have stock of the centre pipes (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/citroen-saxo/saxo-exhaust/exhaust-pipes/citroen-saxo-kam-racing-race-centre-pipe.html) just yet. We are getting a new batch manufactured and these are about 10 days away.
Combined with the backbox you should see a gain of around 5-6bhp. If you can afford an aftermarket manifold (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/citroen-saxo/saxo-exhaust/exhaust-manifold/piper-4-1-exhaust-manifold-citroen-saxo-8v.html) such as the Piper 4-1 (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/citroen-saxo/saxo-exhaust/exhaust-manifold/piper-4-1-exhaust-manifold-citroen-saxo-8v.html) or Supersprint 4-2-1 (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/citroen-saxo/saxo-exhaust/exhaust-manifold/supersprint-inox-race-manifold-citroen-saxo-8v.html) as well to remove the cat you are looking at another gain of 8bhp

atm, its a supersprint 4-2-1, custom center section and 3" backbox (Baffles are fooked in it and I got the exhaust for nothing) its immense lol, people turn around expecting to see a skyline and then i get a look of dissapointment as they realise it's just a saxo
